Your Pop-Out Player is Driving me Nuts!

I love you guys. I love reading your blogs. But your Pop-Out players are driving me nuts.

I go to your blog, and within 30 seconds there is the music playing. I have to go and find the bloody player  (which is always down at the bottom of the blog, searching -- searching I go...) and push the pause button. If I forget and try to watch the lovely video that you have posted, it becomes a cacophony.
If I go to someone else's blog in another window, I have several of them playing.

I love you guys, but I don't necessarily love your music. What about putting the player at the beginning of the blog and I can click pause as I read your newest post?

You know what DeeDee...I agree with you. I hate when I have to go to blogs and find the damn music to turn it off all to see the video...and I especially hate it when the player is blasting Tom Jones music (wink..wink..wink)!!

I'm more concern with visitors reading what I write and viewing the images there...not listening to my playlist. You gave me lots to think about the last couple days on this matter...and I deleted my music all together.

I think its better this way. Thanks for bringing it to my attention.

Peace & Love.

When one has insomnia, and is surfing blogs at 3am, it gets very frustrating and wakes up hubby, the dog, the cat and the parrot all in one fell swoop. I've taken to keeping the sound very low on my pc lately!

Well, I am happy if I didn't hurt anyone's feelings.

I completely agree with you on this. After a while it just becomes annoying.

Fatal Exception is mine.
I load too many windows and some of them auto-load music. Takes a while to find the hidden offenders. Mostly i like the music, especially if it's unusual and weird.

Music is a problem if it is louder than the rest of the video and you can't adjust it without losing content and the speaker. Music is subjective.

I sooooo agree with this post!!
I hate it when music starts playing out of nowhere, when I don't expect it. If I want to listen to music, I will click your play button. If not, I'd rather not hear it....
