Sharing my journey as an artist
Lovely photos and beautiful blog!xx the garage gypsygaragegypsy.blogspot.com
It’s interesting to see how our environments affect our lives and our art. I can see how yours manifests itself in your paintings with the vines around your women. I wonder if living in the desert made me gravitate to rocks and steel or would I have wanted to create with those materials no matter where I lived. Fascinating. Thanks for giving us a glimpse of Australia.
I am entranced by the photos but what kind of reptile is this in your selections. Blessings dear lady. Peace, Mary Helen Fernandez Stewart
Jeanie, in the past I honestly didn't think my environment affected my subject matter that much. Since my trip to the States, during which I was living in the city and received strong inspiration for superheroes, I no longer underestimate it. I am kind of sad that my inspiration for superheroes has lessened since my return.Mary Helen, I am pretty sure it is a water dragon. Great name, eh?
beauteous!lucky.hey.superheroes...did you hear that spiderman died?trufax.you heard it here first.maybe.xxa
you betcha travel is the best creative musesuperheroes...not much call for them in NNSW i guess ;-)but we can't help absorb our surroundings, whether abroad or home, and it will find some way of manifesting into our worki look forward to see the waterdragon muse rear its head :)
I can see why you are inspired... wonderful and what a great garage sale score...
