Being an Artist

This is a video I originally made as a guest curator for Jenny Doh's crescendoh.com blog.

Zom, oh wow. Love what you're saying and the background sounds of the birds - like magic from the other side of the world. Thanks for sharing!

I really enjoyed your video, Zom. I can surely relate to so much of what you've said, and I learned a little from you about myself as well, such as the courageous factor. I also find the entertainment in creating to be an important factor. It really does entertain me and in such a more fulfilling way than something like television. I also love that it takes me to another dimension, another dimension that is me! It is almost like an expansion of self, really. My daughter talks about the book House of Leaves, where the house expands within itself. I feel like creating does that as well.

Thank you so much for sharing this!!

Thank you for restating the same feelings I have in my heart. I love hearing the bird whistle in the background...there is snow on my hillside today and I know you live in a beautiful rainforest. Happy New Year for 2012. Peace, Mary Helen Fernandez Stewart
